Hey people,

Its day 2 of my Australian journey and i am still adjusting to the weather and the way things are done here.This morning before i left the house,my SIS told me to where a scarf and i didn't listen and i paid the prize because it was so damn cold.I like the cold though,the bright sun accompanied by the cool breeze,it just makes your day so much better you know.I just could not stand the heat and the sweat and the lethargic feeling that i felt in Singapore.Suddenly,i don't miss Singapore that much anymore.I want to take this opportunity to thanks 2 of my friends.Terence WAH,thank u,thanks for coming yesterday and thanks for everything.It meant alot!I look forward to seeing u in sydney in he coming years .We shall go on A ROAD trip,ski,surf and do what we do best,DISCUSS CURRENT AFFAIRS!
Winson,thanks for coming as well,take care and pls keep in touch.I miss all of you but pls do know that i am fine .The only worry i did and i still have is that i would like this place so much that i may never go back.The journey continues=)

THE NEW ERA

Over the last year i have had many people come up and ask me why i chose to go Sydney and not stay here.In this post i hope to answer most of your queries and i will reveal what tipped the scale in favor of me going to Australia to study.I am a proud Singaporean,I enjoy the lifestyle here and i have some really good friends here.I mean,sure,the life here is extremely save and secure,i know and im sure things would be rather smooth as they always are here.

However,everyone i have been close with, have known that i have always wanted to leave Singapore to study abroad.No offense to the education system here but i feel that a foreign education would give me a wider prospective of the world and enable me to be better equipped when i eventually enter the working arena. Yea i did apply to NUS at first, but i did not reapply after the first time because i had my mine set on studying abroad.Along the way i had my doubts and i should be allowed to have those doubts as this is a really huge step.I wanted to study in The states but i reached an agreement with my parents to study in Sydney because they wanted me to be close with my Sister and i do understand where they were coming from because a familiar face in a foreign land could make it easier for me to settle down there.Besides let me assure everyone that i am going to be studying in the university of sydney,which is like a top top university so i am actually quite pleased that i have this opportunity.

So sydney it is.I am actually really really excited.I heard the beach is like near my house and i am living quite close to the university so that's a bonus.I just cant wait for the transition period to be over so that i can start the rest of my life in a new country,in a continent and i am sure when i return i will be a different person .My new room =)
